At Sloat, we believe that what our students learn in the extra enrichment classes provided fosters their creativity and boosts their academic performance.

MARINE ACTIVITES, RESOURCES & EDUCATION (MARE)
Each spring, all students participate in the MARE program. Based on curriculum developed by the Lawrence Hall of Science, the week-long program addresses Earth, physical and life science, as well as investigation and experimentation, language arts, environment issues, art, and music. We have speakers, hands-on activities, and field trips.
